Hey everyone! Time for a contest!
As the title suggests, I’m holding an OC contest. This is a contest made to appreciate the higher quality OC’s in the fandom that are often ignored otherwise. This contest means that you guys can submit/link your best OC (not necessarily your most popular one, but the one of the highest quality) to me with a chance to win some art and points. I know my art isn’t amazing but hey, free art is free art, right?
I will be judging, if I need advice, I’ll ask friends that think similarly on what makes a good OC, no need to offer to be an extra judge.
Rules:
One entry per person, to make sure that 3 different winners will be picked and to speed up the process of getting through them.
I need a FULL bio of the character. Must at least contain the these categories. (extra trivia is always allowed) Just because someone is decent at drawing doesn’t mean they make great OC’s. A pretty picture alone will not win you the contest!
I need at least 30 participants for this contest to happen! This is to make the chance of finding high quality OC’s higher.
Comment on this journal with your entry. Do not note them to me or link them elsewhere. I will reply to your comment when I’ve accepted your entry.
No one will be added to the judges. Not when requested, or even when offering more prizes in return. If I don’t know what you value in an OC, I cannot trust your judgement to be the same, or at least similar, to my own.
This will not be turned into a voting contest. Otherwise I would have made a voting contest to begin with. And if that would be the case, I’m convinced that people will either only look at art, or just vote for popular OC’s by default. That defeats the purpose of the contest.
Everyone has until the deadline to finish their OC's. I won't start sorting out until then, so anyone is free to edit and adjust things as much as they want.
Tips:

Take your time rereading your OC on things like typo’s and grammar structures. They won’t directly make me think better of your character, but I’ll be in a lesser mood when struggling through a bio than I would be when I can swiftly read and understand everything.
Be patient. I may end up having to read through a lot of bio’s. I may even extend the deadline. I’ll announce the winners as soon as possible.
Make a journal to advertise the contest! By spreading the contest and getting more contestants the chances of getting more prizes is higher!
Follow all the rules. This may seem obvious, but the first and only thing I'm doing right now is check if all rules are being followed, and there are entries that do not. I do not inform those people of this fact. It's your own responsibility to make sure you follow the rules.
(And by following the rules I do not just mean the rules mentioned here in this post, but also the rules of Remnant. That's as much of a hint I'll give everyone.)

Around Sunday the 29th of August. Thanks to timezones I’m mild on this subject, however I will start categorizing and judging by Monday the 30th!
